Quality is everybody's business at ECD, and is our formula for success. We believe
"Quality and the Customer Go Hand-in-Hand". We're proud of our efforts in this area
and are committed to continuous improvements to maintain our ISO 9001:2000 Certification.
Our quality commitment begins with the qualification and selection of our raw material
suppliers. Only those suppliers who have demonstrated their ability to consistently supply
material which meets our specifications, and who have their own rigorous quality programs
are considered as qualified suppliers.
Our employees have received specialized training and our metallurgical facilities contain
equipment to analyze microstructure and physical properties for every order processed.
ECD's experienced staff and skilled operators work as a team to process orders as efficiently
as possible at the highest quality standard.
Statistical process control is employed to ensure customer specifications are monitored and
controlled using networked data entry stations located throughout the manufacturing process.
Records are maintained consistent with ISO standards pertaining to each order for product
traceability.
Currently, we produce many grades of steel sold in coils or as straightened and cut bars in
varying diameters and lengths, thus ranking us one of the most diversified wire companies in
North America. We hold quality as a top priority, and our focus is on the specialty products
market ... over 90% of our product is on a make-to-order basis. Manufacturing requirements can be
adapted to fit customer specifications.
