Our 1992 original cast of characters: Deb, Nancy, Nan, Susan, Stef and Natalie.

Cheryl joined us in year two and has been with us ever since.

Though some members have come and gone along the way (Natalie, Ellen, Dawn), this core group has loyally remained together throughout our yearly pilgrimages, making sacrifices to house, home and family to continue the tradition.

The Story of Girl's Weekend

Once upon a time, in a land faraway, Debbie Hochuli met her Prince Charming and they decided to wed...

We, her fellow bowling league members, decided that Deb (meaning us) needed a bachelorette party. Since we just couldn't work it into our busy schedules before the wedding, we planned a June "Girl's Weekend" for the Bowling Buddies for the month following her wedding.

That was the dawn of an annual event that has brought joy and laughter to all who have joined us over the years ~ and envy to those who have not.

There have been so many memorable moments throughout the years, as documented in our archives, published as they were written at the time, from the inaugural year to the next few years to the years after that to a few years ago to recent years. And undoubtedly, there will be so many more happy memories and fun times to be recorded.

So, thanks, Deb, for getting married. You honeymooned with us, and the rest, as they say, is history ...
